I initially met Ashley and Kyle through Kylie from Sweet N Southern Events. We immediately hit it off on the phone with our common love for country music, the south and Charleston. It was evident that they were investing a lot of thought and time into their wedding planning and I knew I had to be apart of the team.
Their engagement session was nothing short of magical in my favorite city of Charleston. We danced under the pier, braved a beach storm, embraced the wind, got sandy and played country music until it was time to call it a wrap.
To be completely honest, when you meet a stranger with a camera, you become tense. I remember the moment when I asked them to walk towards me as if they were drunk – in those few seconds, I watched them truly relax and get silly. Watching clients ease into themselves and feel completely comfortable in front of me, is my favorite part of the session.
After bonding over our love for our new fur babies, I can confidently say that Ashley and Kyle are comfortable with me in front and behind the camera. Let’s face it, dogs are the key to starting and sustaining any relationship. October, we are ready for you! See you soon Charleston!
