Stephanie (great name right?!) found me online inquiring about her Charlotte engagement session and upcoming wedding festivities. However, just like most things this year, it was interrupted by COVID. Stephanie and her fiancé, Bobby, changed plans from getting married in Paris to Greenville to Charleston. And I was along for the ride!! It is my job to see where my services fit within my client’s wants and needs. After exchanging emails, the sweet couple decided to have their Charlotte engagement session in the city! This was a go for me since I’m located right in the heart of it all and knew exactly where to take them!
We started at The Green, in uptown charlotte across from the Mint Museum, where we found the perfect sun flare tucked behind a tall, emerald tree. We sneaked over to an ivy wall next to a nearby church. Then, we crossed the street to the Charlotte Convention Center – which creates some of the best imagery in uptown. The lighting never disappoints and the clean lines gives a unique background that always works in my favor. If you haven’t been there yet for some new photos, then I encourage you to head there now and take me with you!
Like most of my couples, this was Stephanie and Bobby’s first time having professional photos done. And man did they kill it! At first they were nervous and a bit stiff, but as we got moving and grooving they became more like themselves and fell more comfortably into each pose and direction. Sometimes it takes time for clients to feel comfortable in front of the camera – especially if this isn’t their “go to” activity. I’m so excited for their Charleston wedding. I wish all the best for them!!
