Ashley and Kyle dreamed up an October 2020 wedding which they envisioned for a year or so! And then came *you know who* and their special day was delayed 6 months. Although we were all itching to make Ashley and Kyle’s wedding come to life, we patiently waited until the beginning of spring.

April 2, 2021 finally came around and it was nothing short of magical. We started with the newlywed’s first look in one of Charleston’s sweetest parks. Then, we scurried over to the iconic cobble stone near meeting street and headed to the most unique and private venue in Charleston – the Island House. The quirky house is full of fun decor – including red velvet wall paper and red carpeting. Not to mention the flower-wrapped oak tree that hovered over 80 white chairs for Ashley and Kyle’s closest friends and family.

Charleston’s southern charm was just one of my favorite elements to the Mickelson’s wedding. There were two artists painting the venue and ceremony live on site, a vintage camper bar, and let’s not forget Ashley’s custom made jean jacket! The evening ended with the most stunning sunset over the inner coast, yummy deserts, and lots of dancing.
