I met Chris and Katie at my first real, big girl job in 2018. It was so fun watching them sneak around on our lunch breaks just to realize they had something super special. And now I get to be apart of this new season in their life – which is just the icing on the cake. Although COVID caused us to reschedule and cancel our Biltmore adventure, I am so thankful for their Max Patch engagement session.

Although it seemed like the rain may not stop, we still hiked up anyway. We popped open my mobile changing room, I threw some trash bags over my cameras and we got to business. With country music playing, Chris and Katie slow danced, kissed, walked and laughed in all the tall grass Max Patch has to offer. Once the sky cleared and set behind the woods, I got to play with the most foggy sun flare which made for some stunning images.

This Max Patch engagement session ended the only way it could. With the sunset as our backdrop, Chris and Katie settled into their own little bubble while I captured their intimate love.
